The new version (2.5) of WordPress came out recently. Upgrading this blog went smoothly.
The most noticeable change is the redesign to the admin section. It is certainly a big improvement on the old.

I certainly did not have the database query problems I had with the previous upgrade.
Ah—I’m waiting (and waiting) for my webhost to upgrade its offering, since I don’t have shell access and can’t do an upgrade till they make it available. Glad to hear that your changeover went well.
