I woke up on the morning of this event feeling tired. On reflection I should not have run, as what I took for tiredness was really illness. I struggled to run at a decent speed and this area was very much suited to running quickly.
I messed up starting my Garmin properly, so I do not have a route for this day. I know where I went for some of the time, but at other points I am not too sure. I had a handful of small, one minute mistakes. Generally due to not being quite accurate enough.
I finished 12/24 on M21S and 39/73 on course 4. My time was 60:13 and the winner (of course 4) did 37:43.
Overall, for the week, I finished 8/33 on M21S, though quite a few of those behind me only did one or two days with it being the best three to count. This is a reasonable result, but one I feel I could have improved on far too easily. Quite a while after I finished there prizegiving for those who had done a lot better than I did!
